Running from the start of December until the end of February, the Ice Crystal Sparkling Water Mirror event will showcase colorful projection mapping displays from 6pm until 9pm daily, with some of the themes including Earth, Water, Starry Sky, Christmas, and New Year.
Matsumoto Castle is located approximately 15 minutes on foot from Matsumoto Station, which is served by the JR Shinonoi Line.
For those who opt to drive, take the Matsumoto IC on the Nagano Expressway, and the castle is around 3 kilometers (approximately 15 minutes driving time) away. Paid parking is available at the Municipal Matsumoto Castle Gate lot.
