While spring in Japan might immediately evoke visions of cherry blossoms, they're not the only flowers that can be enjoyed at this time of year. The Spring Festa at Nagano's National Alps Azumino Park shines a light on tulips and nanohana, two other spectacular seasonal blooms.
The tulip field is massive, with 290,000 tulips of 127 varieties on display with great views of Mount Jonendake as a backdrop. Additionally, there will be a six hectare space completely blanketed with vibrant yellow nanohana flowers!
This is a paid admission event, with prices set at 450 JPY for adults, and 250 JPY for seniors (ages 65 and above). Children receive free admission.
