Fans of the beloved Dutch picture book character Miffy have something new to look forward to in Japan this summer. Huis Ten Bosch, the Dutch-inspired theme park in Nagasaki, will open a brand-new area called Miffy Wonder Square on June 21st, 2025 — and it's perfectly timed with Miffy's 70th birthday.
Unveiled at a recent press conference, Miffy Wonder Square is the park’s largest new project since its founding. Based on the theme “A holiday that Miffy and her friends dream of,” the area will invite visitors into a colorful European-style world full of rides, shops, and restaurants, and they are all brimming with adorable Miffy touches.

Key attractions include "Uncle Pilot’s Flight Adventure," where you’ll soar through the sky with Miffy, and "Miffy & Friends Yacht Sailing," a gentle boat ride perfect for families. Japan’s first permanent Miffy greeting spot, "Greeting Gallery," will also open here, giving fans a chance to meet Miffy in person.

Delicious themed treats will be on offer, too. Try the Miffy Dream Omelet Rice or sweet crepes that are almost too cute to eat at one of the cozy cafés. Special Miffy merchandise, including exclusive plush toys and fashion items, will be available at stylish boutiques around the area.

Even more excitement is planned for fall 2025 with the opening of “Miffy’s Dream Storybook,” an immersive walk-through attraction bringing Miffy’s picture book adventures to life.
For an even smoother visit, guests can purchase an Express Pass or enjoy early park entry by staying at one of the official hotels.
Miffy fans won't want to miss this one-of-a-kind celebration. For more information, please visit the official website here.
