From late July until late August, the Nara Tsutaya bookstore will be hosting an exhibition of works from Tokushima-born illustrator Hiroshi Nagai (1947-). After commencing his career as a graphic designer, Nagai has been active in the illustration world since 1976. He specializes in tropical-styled landscape illustrations, which have been used for numerous purposes - particularly in the realm of album cover design for different musical artists.
This exhibition will showcase a range of Nagai's tropical themed works, which give off the vibe of an endless summer. A number of his original drawings will even be available for purchase during the event.
