A few miles from Nakatsu city center there is so much to explore. Nataksu is surrounded by mountains, river streams, caves, and beautiful rock structures.
The drive itself is very peaceful and aesthetic. In one hour I covered over a hundred picturesque spots! My favorite location was Shinyabakei. This is an elevated structure that is meant for tourists to enjoy the 9 views available in that area. Especially during Autumn, this place is a popular tourist stop for nature lovers and photographers.
