Aharen Beach on Tokashiki Island

Sail or kayak to a pristine bay an hour from Naha

Perched on 26 degrees latitude North, Aharen Beach on Tokashiki Island is blessed with the same balmy climate as the Grand Bahama Island in the Caribbean Sea. You can drop anchor in a nearby cove, or kayak from the beach to explore nearby grottos and uninhabited islands, surrounded by schools of silver, black and blue fish.

While only a hour from Naha by ferry and bus, it feels like you have gone back in time, to your childhood. Everything here runs island time, so slow down, relax, and breathe in the fresh sea air of Aharen Beach.
