Dozens of Birds on Display at Okinawa Zoo and Museum

<p>A crested serpent eagle's eyes and talon keeps if from blending into its captive habitat</p>

<p>An emu likewise blends into its habitat at the Okinawa Zoo</p>

<p>An Inidan peafowl can't help but stand out</p>

Sighting migratory birds can be hit or miss depending on the day and season when visiting the large ponds at Okinawa Zoo and Museum in Okinawa City. There is a collection of proud birds in the Nature Land part of the zoo though that features dozens of birds for viewing enjoyment. Follow the recommended path once entering the zoo and enjoy bird watching at Japan's southernmost zoo.
