Held under the theme of connecting people, Osaka, and the world, the Osaka Flower Carpet event at Expo '70 Commemorative Park includes a floral display comprising of 20,000 blooms with Taro Okamoto's Tower of the Sun as a backdrop. The incredible creation is assembled by Kansai University students and other local volunteers, which makes it all the more impressive!
The beautiful display will be put together throughout the day on November 23rd, and will be available to view up until November 26th. If you're a flower fan and will be in the Osaka area during those dates, be sure to stop by and check it out.
Adult admission to the Expo Commemorative Park is priced at 260 JPY.
Getting there
The event takes place at the Expo '70 Commemorative Park's Sun Plaza, which can be accessed in around 5 minutes on foot from Bampaku Kinen Koen Station (Osaka Monorail's Main Line and Saito Line).
