Saitama's Tokorozawa Sakura Town was officially opened in fall of 2020, and it's a hub for both culture and industry alike. The venue hosts numerous events throughout the year, and this November visitors will be able to enjoy the Hajimari no Hikari Winter Illuminations.
At the event, a 12-meter high koyamaki (Japanese umbrella-pine) tree will be decorated with twinkling LED lights, and the exterior of the main building will also be illuminated in different colors. Best of all, there is no admission fee to enjoy the seasonal beauty.
Tokorozawa Sakura Town can be accessed within approximately 10 minutes on foot from Higashitokorozawa Station, which is served by the JR Musashino Line.
For those who opt to drive, there are three dedicated parking lots available at the venue. The first 15 minutes is free in all of the lots, and is then charged at 200 yen per 30 minute increment thereafter.
