<p>You can see the main building and prayer room in the middle of the garden</p>

<p>Fukuju-in also has several statues. This one is a beautiful Goddess.</p>

<p>Besides the main building, you can see the caretaker's house and surrounding garden</p>

When I first arrived in Fukuya City, Saitama Prefecture, I was not sure where to explore first but wanted to visit a local shrine. After strolling around the city I found this quiet shrine. From Fukuya Station, you walk briefly down Route 69 to find the gate of Fujuku-in on your right side. It was completely deserted and peacefully quiet, with charming views of the garden and statues from almost every angle.
