A food-based night market at Saitama's OKS Campus business park this December intends to connect local producers with the community, and is set to include a wide variety of eats to choose from. Yummy Market will run from 3pm until 8pm on December 10th, with around 20 food trucks serving up hearty meals, sweets, and drinks. There will also be vendors selling handmade items for anyone looking for last minute Christmas gifts.
The event places a focus on sustainability, with guests encouraged to bring their own crockery and cutlery from home instead of utilizing plastic packaging for their eats of choice. There is no admission fee to explore the market, but bring yen if you plan on making a purchase.
Getting there
The OKS Campus business park is located under 10 minutes by taxi from Akabane-Iwabuchi Station, which is served by the Tokyo Metro Namboku Line and the Saitama Rapid Railway Line.
