Possibly the best part of the museum is the cat bus from Totoro, which adults are allowed inside! (unlike the Ghibli Museum) (Photo: Hana Joy)

Fun at the Izu Teddy Bear Museum

So many bears and a life-sized cat bus from Totoro!

The Izu Teddy Bear Museum is a small museum tucked away on the Izu peninsula. Teddy bear enthusiasts will find many rare and antique bears, while Ghibli and Totoro fans won't be disappointed with the special exhibit featuring only Totoro.

Among the highlights is a life-sized cat bus from Totoro. There are other interactive exhibits, and the teddy bear collection is really worth a trip for any fan of teddy bears.
