“WELCOME to Sea Paradise!” read the huge lettered text ahead that greeted us as our bus came to a complete stop at Izu Mito Sea Paradise in Izu City, Shizuoka Prefecture.

Here, we meet little Nemo, Flipper, and Willy’s long lost relatives, as well as the other sea animals. As we walked down the maze-like interior, we saw some Pacific white-nosed dolphins gliding gracefully through the water, cheering the people in awe of their friendliness. Flashes of cameras sparkled here and there as we saw and cheered at the bottled-nose dolphins that performed their high jumps with a loud SPLASH!
