K’s House of Ito is located in a 100 year-old Registered Tangible Cultural Property. It is located within a 7-minute walk from JR Ito Train Station and a 4-minutes walk from the beach. The hostel offers hot-spring baths, free Wi-Fi, and three lounge areas.
The Japanese-style rooms at Historical Ryokan Hostel K's House Ito Onsen are air-conditioned and come with a traditional tatami-mat flooring. In most rooms, you can enjoy beautiful views of the Matsukawa River. The hostel is conveniently located in the central part of the city, close to Orange Beach, Ito Harbor, and Shrines.
Guests can relax in the communal hot spring bath or the private hot-spring bath free of charge. You can cook in the fully equipped kitchen or read at the mini library. Free Wi-Fi is provided in the lounge.
I enjoyed staying at K’s House very much. Maybe because it was early spring, an off-season for swimming, so the hostel was quiet. Toilets were shared, but there was no problem about that. I liked the interior of the hostel with many old collectibles like a telephone and clock, and also Japanese decorations. I'd love to stay here again someday!
Ito is a 2-hour ride from Tokyo via Shinkansen or JR Limited Express Train.
