The Tsumekizaki Narcissus Festival is held every year from December 20th until January 31st, when over 3 million white daffodils are in bloom on the Suzaki Peninsula. Throughout the festival dates there are a variety of fun events held, including taiko drumming performances and local food sampling - specifically Ikenodan miso hot pot, which is a regional specialty.
Getting there
The Tsumekizaki Narcissus Festival can be accessed within 15 minutes by bus from Izukyu-Shimoda Station - take the No. 10 bus bound for Tsumekizaki.
For those who plan to drive, there is paid on-site parking available for 200 vehicles. Parking for a regular passenger vehicle is priced at 1000 yen.
