Despite having been to Nikko on various occasions during the last few years it’s one of those places you can never get tired off. Perhaps it’s because of its impressive collection of world class temples and shrines or vast array of natural wonders which impels me to return time and time again.
Beautiful during anytime of the year, Nikko’s vast landscape is transformed into a beautiful array of bright colors during the autumn season. Starting off at Lake Yunoko in the north, I gradually made my way down south, finishing outside the world famous Taiyuin Temple
