Nikko’s Yudaki Falls

Water gushing down from above

Gushing out gallons of water per second down a steep vertical cliff, Yudaki Falls is one of Nikko's top natural wonders. Forming the source of the mighty Yu-River which runs all the down to Lake Chuzenji, these falls are located close to the northern entrance of the ever popular Senjo-ga-hara Marsh.

Measuring over 70 meters in height and 25 meters in width, this waterfall provides a dramatic experience for anyone as you see the water crashing down wildly in front of you. For anyone wanting to savor these moments in a more leisurely fashion, there is a nearby café with an excellent observation point
