Tokyu Harvest Club Nasu

Tranquil retreat adjacent to the Nasu Imperial Villa

During this New Year holiday, I visited the Nasu highland in Tochigi prefecture and stayed at Tokyu Harvest Club Nasu.

This tranquil resort hotel stands on spacious grounds adjacent to the Nasu Imperial Villa. A free shuttle bus drives there from JR Nasu station. As it was a family get-together season, many families were enjoying their stay in this resort. One of the reasons for its popularity among families is the giant sizes of the guest rooms (the smallest 37㎡ to the largest 83㎡), large enough to accommodate a whole family in one room. Although this is a membership hotel, non-members can also stay here through reservations at general travel sites (like Rakuten Travel). There are hotsprings, pastures, golf courses, etc. in the neighborhood and you can relax and enjoy nature here. The hotel is equipped with hot spring baths, spas, esthetic treatments and a swimming pool as well.
