Scandinavian countries are often highly revered for their design style, and Finnish design in particular has some unique qualities — simple clean lines, wooden elements, and inspiration drawn from nature are just a few. From October 10th until November 15th the Tottori Prefectural Museum is hosting a special exhibit titled "Finnish Design for Everyday Life", where guests can explore a variety of pieces from this region of the world. There will be a specific focus on Finnish glass crafts and textiles, with over 250 items in total on display. Adult admission to the exhibition is 1000 yen, with university students and younger admitted for free.

Getting there

The Tottori Prefectural Museum is located around 10 minutes by taxi from Tottori Station, served by the Sanin Main Line.

Alternatively, take the 100 yen Kururi Bus (green line) from Tottori Station. Departures take place approximately every 20 minutes, and there is a dedicated stop for the museum (stop number 11).
