Next to Tottori’s famous sand dunes is the world’s first sand museum dedicated to the art of sand sculpture. This year’s theme is based around the United Kingdom as the host of the 2012 summer Olympics. You will be bewildered at the sand art forms you see and wonder all those times you tried to build a sand castle at the beach why you were never able to do what these artists have been able to create. The theme changes each year so you will be able to visit each year to see something new.
