Yasohachi is a kappo-style restaurant that centers your attention on every detail in its cuisine. Kappo is a traditional Japanese dining style that emphasizes seasonal ingredients with intricate techniques.
Yasohachi allows customers to see the entire process of how the food is prepared in a relaxed environment. There are counter seats, tatami rooms, and table seats surrounding the kitchen, where you can see all of the ingredients arranged on the shelves. The restaurant proudly serves vegetables, meat, and fish that were purchased on that day.
The restaurant only uses seasonal ingredients, so you can be sure to discover new dishes any time you visit. They offer a wide range of dishes, such as daily sashimi platters, grilled seafood and meat, savory sukiyaki, and salted rice balls. A course menu is also available, which includes an array of seasonal dishes. There is also a sukiyaki course with Ube City wagyu beef available.
