After months of rumors and not-so-subtle hints, BTS have officially locked in their World Tour, and yes, Tokyo is on the map. The dates were only just announced, but already the excitement is palpable.
BTS in Tokyo: April 17th and 18th, 2026
Right now, what we know for sure is that BTS will perform in Tokyo on April 17th and April 18th, 2026.
That puts Japan right at the front end of the tour, coming just after their massive three-night run in Goyang, South Korea. It also means Tokyo will be one of the very first places in the world to experience this new era of BTS live, which is a big deal for ARMY here.
What we do not know yet is the venue or ticket pricing. Both dates are still marked "Stay Tuned" on the official site, so no stadium or seating map has been revealed. But if history is any guide, these will be some of the biggest shows Japan sees all year.
Why these Tokyo shows matter
Japan has always been one of BTS's strongest markets. Having two back-to-back nights in Tokyo right at the start of a global stadium tour feels like a statement.
It also makes April in Japan suddenly look very different. Spring is already peak travel time, and now you have one of the biggest pop acts on the planet landing in the middle of it. Hotels, flights, and trains around those dates are going to move fast once ticket sales are announced.
What to do right now
Since ticket details are not out yet, this is the calm before the storm. If you're serious about going, this is the moment to start mapping out things like accommodation options. Once the venue and pricing drop, it will be chaos in the best possible way.
