About Narita

Narita is often bypassed by visitors who usually come and go from Narita Airport. However, the city has more to offer than just its airport, with its attractions interesting enough to make it worth a day trip there.

A popular place with tourists is Naritasan Temple. Omotesando, the street leading up to the temple, is lined with shops selling all kinds of crafts, food, and souvenirs. The temple itself is a large, traditional structure that is more than a thousand years old.

The National Museum of Japanese History also caters to the history buffs, with many cultural artefacts and exhibitions that explain the development of Japan. If all else fails, the Aeon Narita shopping mall is not too far from the airport for tourists to shop to their hearts’ content.
