Winter illumination events at train stations blend convenience and joy, transforming everyday commutes into magical journeys. From the beginning of December until the end of February, Sodegaura Station on the JR Uchibo Line will be adorned with a variety of colorful lights in an effort to promote some festive season cheer. Along with serving an aesthetically pleasing purpose, they also help guide travelers passing through after dark.

The illuminations are set to run from 5pm until 1am during the event dates, and they can be found at both the north and south exits of the station. If you're passing through the area be sure to check them out – it's a fun way to turn routine travel into a visually enchanting experience!
