From July 2 to September 15, 2025, Tokyo Disney Resort is offering various Summer Fun activities so everyone can create special summer memories.

As the temperature rises in Tokyo, so does the excitement at Tokyo Disney Resort with the start of its summer event, “Summer Cool-off at Tokyo Disney Resort.” This summer, Tokyo Disney Resort has collaborated with the Japanese band “Mrs. Green Apple” for their special track “Carrying Happiness,” which will be played during different summer-only content.

Tokyo Disneyland

Happy Ride with Baymax

At one of the most enjoyed rides, “Happy Ride with Baymax,” Mrs. Green Apple’s summer track will be played to spread the summer atmosphere all around. After riding on a special vehicle pulled by Baymax, you will be swayed by unpredictable motions along with uptempo songs. The seven songs, including six existing tracks and one special summer track, are played randomly.

Baymax’s Mission: Cool Down

Baymax has returned this summer to help all guests “cool down” in this immense heat. This parade will also be playing the special collaboration song, “Carrying Happiness.” While not all locations will be splashed equally, at certain locations, Baymax will detect danger and will be sure to drench you with enough water. Make sure to protect not only yourself but your belongings from the water as well. The parade lasts 35 minutes and runs three times every day.

Splash Mountain ‘Get Soaked MAX Plus’

The Splash Mountain ride has increased the amount of water again this summer season, welcoming guests with an even more exciting adventure down the waterfall. The name, “MAX Plus,” will not disappoint you. It is recommended to bring a change of clothes or a towel, as the ride will ensure you are wet from head to toe.

Various restaurants at Disneyland will also be offering summer menus that are perfect to help you cool down. “Cool down udon” offered in a Baymax cup and shaved ice coming in two flavours, both with a Baymax mochi on top, can be enjoyed at Plaza Pavillion. More summer menus can be enjoyed all around the park, so make sure to keep a look-out.

You can enjoy getting wet furthermore at the entrance of Adventure Land and at Toon Town.

Dock Side Splash Remix is a summertime dance festival with splashed water all over. Mickey and his friends will also join the party. The show lasts 20 minutes and Mickey Mouse will come to greet you at 17:55, 19:25, and 20:55.

“Get Soaked” Harbour Splash

If you want to get splashed at DisneySea along to Mrs. Green Apple’s “Carrying Happiness,” make sure to visit the Piazza Topolino and Lido Isle area. This event will happen every day until 17:00, each one lasting approximately 90 seconds.

Enjoy the summer-only strawberry milk-flavoured shaved ice, Mickey Mouse cookie sandwich ice cream, and a fresh cold noodle with lemon at Dockside Diner, right next to the famous Tower of Terror.

Another summer menu, a cold pasta pescatore, will be offered at Cafe Portofino.

Many more summer menus are offered around DisneySea, so please go try them as well.

If you are searching for the perfect spot to cool down, visit the Mysterious Island area and the ride, Aquatopia, with an extra splash of water in the Port Discovery area.

In both parks, summer merchandise can be utilised to look cute but also to help you stay cool in Japan’s intense humidity and heat. Most recommended are the mist fans and towels that get cold when run in water. At various points in the park, cold water is offered for this merchandise, so please utilise it.

This summer, Baymax is all over, featured in the new summer merchandise as well. Use the glowing Baymax wristband to increase the fun.

If you are visiting Tokyo Disney Resort this summer, make sure to have the best time ever, but don’t underestimate Japan’s heat. Drink lots of water, bring towels, and wear sunscreen.
