The Unko Museum concept was originally born in 2019, and took various cities including Tokyo, Yokohama, and Hiroshima by storm. The event is making a return visit to Fukuoka from this March, and it's set to amuse and delight visitors with an array of fun and interactive poop-related displays.
One new section at this iteration of the event is the "poop animals" portion, with a variety of plush-toy style poops that can be used as photo props.
If you plan to visit, do note that the admission fee differs from weekdays to weekends.
Weekdays – Adults: 1,600 yen • Junior high and high school students: 1,200 yen • Children (4 years old and over): 700 yen
Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays – Adults: 1,800 yen • Junior high and high school students: 1,400 yen • Children (4 years old and over): 900 yen
The event takes place at BOSS E · ZO FUKUOKA (within the FUKUOKA PayPay Dome). The venue is under 15 minutes on foot (or around 5 minutes by taxi) from Tojinmachi Station, which is served by the Fukuoka City Subway's Kūkō Line.
