Modeled on a small English village, St. Anna's Garden is a lovely place to stop if sightseeing near Fukushima City. The centerpiece is St. Anna's Church, built in 1993. Surrounding the church is a complex of over 20 shops, restaurants, cafes, and a museum. Visitors can enjoy gelato, pizza, Japanese sweets, coffee, locally brewed beer, and more. They can also shop for pottery, antique furniture, imported clothing, and locally produced items. Entry to the complex is free, with the exception of the Nishida Memorial Museum.
