Beer gardens are one of the trademark signs that summer has arrived, and from June 25th through until September 30th Gunma's Shiroiya Hotel will be hosting a beer terrace event. Priced at 4500 yen per person, the event includes an all you can drink setup for a two hour window, and there are a range of beverages on offer. Some of the beer options include Afterdark by Tokyo's Spring Valley Brewery, Tokyo White from Far Yeast Brewing, and Grand Kirin IPA from the Kirin Brewing Company.
The 4500 yen fee also includes some light nibbles like nuts and edamame chips, but there are other more substantial foods available to purchase at an additional charge.
Do note that reservations are required at least the day prior to your visit.
Getting there
Gunma's Shiroiya Hotel is located approximately 15 minutes on foot (or 5 minutes by taxi) from Maebashi Station, which is served by the JR Ryomo Line.
For those who opt to drive to the venue, it's located around 15 minutes from the Maebashi IC on the Kan-Etsu Expressway. Do note that there is no on-site parking lot available.
