The Sapporo Art Camp is a multi-day event which showcases colorful illuminations and projection mapping after dark. The theme of this year's event is cherry blossom viewing, and many of the displays are inspired by flowers.
On the last day of the event, a fireworks display will be held in addition to the illuminations and projection mapping.
Please note that while the event runs from February 12th to 19th, the venue is closed on February 13th.
Getting there
The Sapporo Art Park can be conveniently accessed by bus from Makomanai Station (Namboku Line). From Chuo Bus platform #2, take either the Soranuma Line or Takino Line bus and alight at the stop for Geijutsu no Mori Iriguchi or Geijutsu no Mori Center.
For those who opt to drive, the venue is approximately 40 minutes from the center of Sapporo City. On-site parking is available for around 500 vehicles, and is charged at a flat fee of 500 yen.
