Built on Port Island and very close to Kobe Airport, Hotel Pearl City Kobe is a place where making the guest feel comfortable is top priority. Opening back in 1991 as the first hotel of HMI Hotel Group's now nationwide range of hotels, it is a top choice of accommodation for travelers to Kobe.

Hotel Pearl City Kobe is a fourteen-story building that provides no less than 381 rooms. It is located nearby Nakafuto station on the Kobe Port Liner, and thus is very easy to reach from Kobe City or the airport. Though the surrounding area is very peaceful, Kobe's downtown area can be reached within minutes by car. To make things even easier, the hotel provides a free shuttle service to and from the central Sannomiya and Shin-Kobe stations as well.

Pearl City Kobe has all the distinctive features of a luxurious hotel; the large entrance hall includes a front desk, a hotel shop, a salon, and a grand buffet-style dining room. A luggage service and a cloakroom can be inquired for at the front desk. The staff speak English well, and their hospitality is very professional.

The hotel offers a variety of rooms, from single to double and even triple rooms. Beds are more than large enough, and the bedding is very comfortable and clean. All rooms have a modular bathroom, which includes many amenities such as soft bath towels, body soap, shampoo and conditioner, hair-dryer, cups, toothbrushes, hair brushes, and more. Each room has a flat screen TV, a refrigerator, a tea set, notebook, and many other convenient office-related items. And if you need to work on something for business or simply want to stay connected, free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms. To make you feel at home, slippers and a shoe polishing set are provided in the entrance cupboard. The temperature of each room can be regulated thanks to an individual air-conditioning and heating system, and to top things off, a room service is at your disposal as well.

Pearl City Kobe has a wide range of facilities to entertain its guests, including a private spa and large public bath known as the Garden Spa, a relaxation and massage service, a library, and a hotel shop. Kids and their parents can enjoy the children's playground area. Vending machines for both food and drink are available in the building, as are laundry and dry cleaning services.

Breakfast is available at the Topaz restaurant, with lunch and dinner available at the Restaurant and Café Prashanti (including set menus, à la carte and an attractive dinner buffet during the summer season (July 18–September 23). The hotel is also a popular venue for weddings and business meetings, given its spacious ballroom and meeting room facilities.

Located nearby Nakafuto station, and thanks to its free shuttle service, Hotel Pearl City Kobe is a good place to stay from which to discover the 6th largest city of Japan in a comfortable way. And if you want to take a break from the liveliness of downtown Kobe, Port Island offers many attractions itself, such as the UCC Coffee Museum, IKEA, or Port Island and Nishi Parks. And if you need something in a hurry, there is a 7-Eleven just in front of the hotel that is open all night long.
