There are three major events at the Ibaraki Flower Park each year: their spring rose event, their autumn rose event, and their winter illumination event. The latter typically runs from mid-November until early January, and this year's event will see five different areas at the park decorated with different illumination concepts.
Along with the myriad of gentle lights to enjoy, the event will also include a special menu at the on-site Restaurant Rose Farm House, and seasonal events like botanical flower wreath making classes.
Admission to the park is priced at 900 yen for adults, 300 yen for children (elementary and junior high age), and free for preschoolers and younger. Pets are also welcome at the park for an additional fee of 200 yen.
