Engakuji is known for its Zen. A special summer Zen lecture course has been held here during the 2nd half of every July since before World War II. But here in this series of photos, I focus more on the lovely gardens and flowers. This I feel is more the softer side of this loevely temple-complex. Combined with the disciplines of photography, this makes it a true Zen-like experience.
