A beautiful little hamlet in western Kanagawa

Manazuru, between Odawara and Atami, sits on a small peninsula that juts out into Sagami Bay. It is a peaceful little village, mainly known for the cape.  Trade here revolves around the water with seafood restaurants, scuba diving schools, and boat tours. A luscious forest towers over the beach and its famous Mitsu-ishi (The Three Rocks), and people come from miles around to enjoy a stroll along the shore.
