Night Walk in Yokohama's Chinatown

Under neon lights amid steamed buns

Yokohama is generally considered a good destination for a one-day trip for those coming from Tokyo. But Kanagawa's main city has a lot of attractions to visit, and deserves more of your attention for those who can stay longer. If you take your time and enjoy its unique atmosphere, Chinatown will fill you with wonder.

Yokohama Chinatown is actually the biggest one in all of Asia. The area provides a lot of restaurants and gifts shop, and attracts many tourists and locals everyday. Taking a night walk under the neon lights is always a pleasure, and places like the Kentei-byo temple are even more delightful during the nighttime. Prices of Chinese food are not so high, and restaurants offer the possibility to taste a wide range of dishes.

Chinatown is one of the must-see places in Yokohama. If you wish to stay in Yokohama for more than one day (which you really should), I would recommend a stay at HOTEL MYSTAYS Yokohama.
