Odawara is blessed with several venues to enjoy seasonal plum blossoms, and the Odawara Plum Walk event takes advantage of the abundant natural beauty in the area. From the end of January through until the end of February, visitors will be encouraged to walk and appreciate the fragrant blooms at two locations: the Odawara Castle Ruins Park and the Soga Plum Grove.
A walking tour theme was specifically decided on for 2021 instead of the usual festival event to prevent against large groups congregating in the one place.
Admission to the venues is free, but there is a charge if you plan to visit the Odawara Castle Tower when you're there (510 yen for adults).
