The Hanahotaru Hot Springs and Golf resort is named after the hotaru, a firefly which gives magic to the night skies. Enjoy a soothing view over the countryside from the rotenburo, or the outdoor hot springs onsen. The natural rock pools and hot springs at the resort replenish and refresh the body and mind.

Nestled in the rolling green hills of Mifune, there is a four miniature ground golf courses, named after the firefly, cherry blossom, maple, and many other natural features, which are suitable to players of all levels and ages. Relax at the café or host your function here for up to 50 people. It is only 30 minutes by car from Kumamoto Airport or the Aso Mountains. Relax the Kumamoto way and enjoy the views which are stunning in summer or in the evenings.
