Ueki Onsen is one of the most famous hot springs in Kumamoto. It is less than an hour from downtown Kumamoto, so you can come here on a day trip.
Once you arrive in Ueki Onsen, come to Namiki Village, where the Hanamizuki building is located. Decorated in a country style, its manicured gardens and clean baths give a feeling of luxury.
As the water is alkaline and rich with healthy minerals such as sulfur, it will leave your skin looking young and moist.
