Feel relaxed the moment you step inside the country style front gate. At the reception you can choose either the stone or cypress wood bath. We chose the stone one called "momiji" or maple.

There is a lounge next to the reception and you could enjoy a beer after bathing.

There is a fireplace after you pass the front gate.

Walk past the manicured garden on the way to the "momiji" or maple bath.

Hot spring mineral water on tap for drinking with health benefits for the stomach and intestine,including the reduction of gall stone, gall infection, diabetes, gout, uric acid stone, bronchitis and throat infection. The water also contains fluoride which protect teeth from decay.

Dressing room of your own private bath. It is equipped with a hair dryer and bottles of moisturizer.

At "Momiji" or maple bath, you can feel like if you are in an open air bath with the windows wide open.

Ueki Onsen is one of the most famous hot springs in Kumamoto. It is less than an hour from downtown Kumamoto, so you can come here on a day trip.

Once you arrive in Ueki Onsen, come to Namiki Village, where the Hanamizuki building is located. Decorated in a country style, its manicured gardens and clean baths give a feeling of luxury.

As the water is alkaline and rich with healthy minerals such as sulfur, it will leave your skin looking young and moist.
