From May 19th (Wednesday) to June 15th (Tuesday), a Blue Bottle Coffee pop-up event will be making its way to the JR Kyoto Isetan department store. The company got started in California back in 2002, and have expanded to a host of different cities, including New York, Seoul, Hong Kong, and several spots right here in Japan.
The pop-up store will offer several merchandise sets available for purchase, which include Blue Bottle coffee beans along with items like tote bags and eco-friendly cups. The store won't be retailing ready-to-drink coffee, but if you do need a caffeine fix there is a branch of Blue Bottle Coffee near Nanzenji Temple - you can find details about it here.
