From August 1st until September 30th, the Westin Miyako Kyoto will be hosting a grape afternoon tea event. Intended to mark the transition from summer to autumn, the afternoon tea will include various dishes incorporating grapes, including a muscat grape tart, grape cheesecake, and a grape and salmon salad.
The event is priced at 5,100 yen per head, and reservations are required at least the day before your intended visit. These can be arranged by visiting the official hotel website here.
Getting there
The Westin Miyako Kyoto is located just two minutes on foot from Keage Station, which is served by the Tozai subway line. Alternatively, the hotel operates shuttle bus services from Kyoto Station to the premises on a regular basis - please check with them about departure times on the day of your intended visit.
For those who opt to drive, the hotel is around 15 minutes from the Kyoto-Higashi IC on the Meishin Expressway.
