Latest on Tofukuji Temple

The valleys of Tofuku-ji Temple put on fresh green colors in May. They contain a beautiful variation of maple, pine, cedar and so on. Walking up the temple's covered wooden bridge and gentle stone steps, you will feel as if you are floating in a deep forest. The covered corridors curve to the right and the left, and finally reach Kaizan-do Hall and its beautiful courtyard. You can sit on the wooden floor and enjoy the garden. Take your time and soak in the bracing green! The view of autumn leaves is another scenic charm.
