<p>In 2014, the 29th Tohoku University International Festival was held at Sanjo Junior High School. In the stage area you can see performances and a fashion show.</p>

<p>The food stalls are spread out over the grounds, offering food from over 20 countries</p>

In 2014, the Tohoku University Foreign Students Association celebrated their 29th International Festival. Held every October, the festival brings together cultures from around the world that are represented by students studying at the university. Originally, it took place indoors, but it has since grown so big that the event has moved to the grounds of the nearby Sanjo Junior High School.

You can see performances and a fashion show, and sample food and cultural activities from over 20 countries. Entrance is free, and food tickets can bought for ¥1200 on the day, or ¥1000 if you book online.
