Kinojo Castle is perched at the top of the mountain range that starts in Okayama City and works its way up to Niimi City. A castle that has to be imagined to what its grandeur was way back when, as most of its structure no longer exists today.
But more than the brick and mortar is the legend that is known around the world. The story of Momotaro ‘The Peach Boy’ and the challenges that he had to overcome on his journey. The biggest battle of course was against the demons that lived in Kinojo. If you like the story you will enjoy walking the ruins and imagining your own stories.
