Trains manage to captivate both adults and children alike with their allure of adventure, their varying mechanics, and even a sense of nostalgia in many cases. The Family Rail Fair held at the Keihan Railway Neyagawa Depot is suitable for train aficionados of all ages, and contains numerous ways to connect with this much-loved form of transport.
From rides on a mini-train to train tug-of-war competitions, and even "conductor-experience" sessions, this event provides a myriad of interesting train-based activities that provide fun for the entire family.
While some activities can be enjoyed freely by all visitors on the day, other activities require advance application via a lottery system. Details on how to apply can be found on the official event website.
Getting there
The event takes place at the Keihan Railway Neyagawa Depot, which can be accessed in around 15 minutes on foot from Neyagawashi Station on the Keihan Main Line.
