Universal Studios Japan is once again bringing the world of One Piece to life with the return of the popular seasonal event, One Piece Premier Summer. Running from the start of July until early October, this limited-time celebration offers fans the chance to step into the action alongside the Straw Hat Crew.
The main attraction is the One Piece Premier Show, a live performance packed with dramatic battles, familiar characters, and powerful stage effects. This year, Buggy the Clown, now one of the Four Emperors, joins the show in a fierce clash with Luffy and his friends. Held in the WaterWorld venue, the performance delivers an unforgettable 80-minute adventure that blends action, comedy, and heartfelt moments.

For a more relaxed but equally immersive experience, Sanji’s Pirate Restaurant opens its doors once again. Guests can enjoy a multi-course French-inspired meal while being treated to Sanji’s signature hospitality. Set in Lombard’s Landing, this themed dining event requires advance reservations, which will be distributed through a lottery system.
Thrill-seekers can dive into the One Piece Story Ride, where Luffy and Usopp lead guests on a fast-paced coaster experience through key moments from the series. This unique attraction uses the Hollywood Dream ride to create a high-energy adventure with vivid sound and visual effects.
Since its debut in 2007, One Piece Premier Summer has become a fan favorite, offering an evolving lineup of attractions each year. With the continued success of the anime and manga, the event remains a must-visit for fans looking to experience the world of One Piece beyond the screen. Full event details, including ticketing and showtimes, can be found on the Universal Studios Japan website.
