In Japan everything tends to be cuter than anywhere else, even mail boxes.
Mail boxes here are typically red, but sometimes pink (for example, in Komagome), blue (Shinagawa), yellow (Ibusuki, Kagoshima) or brown (JR Tokyo station). Some postboxes are decorated with beautiful patterns, such as cherry blossoms or fans, or have add-ons (such as a cute panda).
I still have a long way to go, so I hope this photo story is just a start!
