Takumi no Sato is a handicraft village in the midst of rice fields and apple orchards in the foothills of the Minakami Mountains. There are more than two dozen workshops and shops selling various Japanese handicrafts. You can also watch them here how these are made to participate in a workshop.

Access

Arrive at Takumi no Sato via the Kan-etsu Kotsu Bus (platform 3) in front of Jomo-Kogen Station. It takes about 20 minutes.
