From the 3rd to the 6th of November, the streets of Shizuoka will be taken over by street performers from around the world, taking part in the Daidogei World Cup 2016.
There'll be clowns and jugglers, tumblers and acrobats, aerialists, musicians, stilt-walkers, men spinning round in giant hoops, and plenty more besides.
Most of the shows are free, there are information booths set up around the city, and you can buy a program with details of the schedule and information about the performers.
But much of the fun is just walking around and seeing what kind of show you find around the corner
