The slogan for the Alice on Wednesday store does not disappoint. “Welcome to a never ending tea party” is what the store wants the shoppers to feel like when they step into their wonderland. Entering the shop through the small doorway made me feel like a kid again.
The soft lights and the entrancing music did a good job setting the fairy tale like atmosphere. While shopping it is hard to not notice the eccentric art that decorates the walls. While there are different types of art and unique floor layouts the merchandise is equally unique.
You can find most Alice in Wonderland merchandise at this store, as they sell modern and rustic styles of the popular story. This store makes for great window shopping and selecting souvenirs to take home to friends and family. If you are one of the crowds that walk down the streets of Harajuku Bell Pier or Jingu-Mae, keep an eye out for the magical world of Alice on Wednesday.
