Art Triangle Roppongi is also known as Tokyo's new artistic hub and The National Art Center, Tokyo, is just one of the museum's that make up the "triangle."

As a Native-Californian, my visit to this center was sparked by the announcement that it would be presenting the first exhibition of modern California design focused in the areas of Shaping, Making, Living & Selling California Modern designs that emerged mid-century.

"California Design, 1930-1965: Living in a Modern Way" exhibit presents over 250 objects to include furniture, metalwork and my favorite, fashion and textiles. Until June 3, 2013.
