<p>The nearby Caretta Shiodome shopping complex offers plenty of restaurants for dining before or after the light show.</p>

<p>A fog generator adds to the sea of color.</p>

<p>The corridor of blue lights is outstanding.</p>

<p>The light show lasts for six minutes every 20 minutes.</p>

The Caretta Shiodome complex is one of many outstanding Christmas illuminations taking place throughout the city. It is open from November 19th to February 14, 2016 and starts at 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. nightly. The show consists of more than 250,000 LED lights that are used in a light and music show every 20 minutes lasting six minutes. This year's theme is the Canyon d'Azur or "Canyon of Blue," and the experience is a wonderful sea of blue lights.
